Jim Vokac, a dear friend of ours, has the ability to fly. While he was up in his ultra lite plane he took some aerial photos of our place. This shows the outline of our EarthShip. The greenhouse is not added on to the front of it yet. This does give you the idea of the shape. The black behind the EarthShip are tires as well as the black in front of the hills of dirt. The white things are our cisterns. The white lines is the start of our septic. And then you see our camper and our pole barn. This is our home. The aerial photos are at the same progress as this ground shot. We are almost done with the second row of tires. Just 15 more to go and we will have the second row complete. Our friend Jim wants to continue taking photos as we move along here. What a nice way to document our progress. As of today we have completed 117 tires. Looking at this from our perspective we have come a long way from starting our first tire. But we are not done yet and have a long way to go. We have started and are looking forward to working on this during the winter. So far this fall the temperatures are great for working on the EarthShip. We are not sweating like we did this summer. But our endurance is not there yet either. We had hopes of completing 10 tires each work day. So far our average is 5. Each day we complete any amount of tires we view it as we are that many tires closer towards getting it done. Living in a camper during the winter is not going to be the ideal way of spending a winter. It will be cold and damp. This will be our motivation towards working on our EarthShip. One warms up when filling a tire.
