Great blog, I'm excited to watch your progress! We started a very small earthship and then we stopped to build a small cabin to move into so that we could move to the land and work on our off the grid homestead full time. Tire packing takes sooo much time and energy, and your family has been doing such an amazing job at it! I'm so happy for you and know that all the hard work your doing now will be so worth it once you are in the comfort of your earthship.

Thank you so much Johanna for your wonderful comments. It makes a huge difference when you can live on site to build. We had to camp in a campground until we got our land ready. When we got to the 7th row of tires. Allen and Arron discovered that using a tag team method really helped in pounding tires much faster. They went from 1 hr to 35 minutes in getting a 17.5 inch tire pounded. Let us know if you have any other questions. You can also check us out on Facebook as well.
